HIDA’s Advanced Ballet Summer Intensive focuses on strengthening students’ pointe work, turning, jumps, flexibility, and alignment. Students will learn new choreography, Contemporary and Lyrical.
*HIDA students in Pointe Level 1 and above do not need to take placement class to sign up for HIDA’s Advanced Ballet Summer Intensive. New students need to take a placement class. Placement class fee is $35. Please contact Yang Zou via yang.haiyanballet@gmail.com to schedule your placement class.

Splash Ballet Camp (Beginning Ballet Students. Weekly Program)
Splash, splash, plie! Join us for a magical week full of dancing, swimming, and summer fun! Our Splash Ballet Summer Camp brings the world under the sea to life! Dancers will twirl, leap, and play through dance classes and outdoor adventures designed to keep kids moving, smiling, and inspired.
Camp Fun May Include:
- Daily dance classes.
- Stretching and movement time in the shady park next to the Sunset Swimming Center.
- Pool party.
- Swimming time supervised by THPRD certified lifeguards.
- In studio performance for family and friends.

Pre-Pointe & Pointe Ballet Summer Class
This summer program is designed for HIDA Pre-Professional Ballet & Pointe Level students to develop pointe work while strengthening technique and maintaining ballet conditioning during the break. Classes emphasize safe, age-appropriate training and proper alignment to build a strong foundation for successful and healthy pointe work.
Program Highlights:
• Introduction to pointe shoes for eligible students
• Pre-pointe strengthening and alignment exercises
• Technique-focused ballet classes to maintain strength and flexibility
• Emphasis on injury prevention and healthy dance habits
Dates: July 13 – August 14, 2026
Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays | 7:00–8:30 PM

This class is ideal for dedicated ballet students who want to stay in shape, build strength, and safely prepare for pointe work in a supportive and structured environment.
